Pakistan, India in same group as schedule for Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026 announced

India and Pakistan Drawn Together in Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026 Group

Cricket rivals India and Pakistan have been placed in the same group for the upcoming Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026, which will be held from August 28 to September 13.

The eight-team tournament has been divided into two groups of four teams. Group A includes defending champions India, Pakistan, Thailand, and Hong Kong, China.

Meanwhile, Group B features Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to the announced schedule, the tournament will begin on August 28, with Thailand facing Hong Kong, China, in the opening match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The Dubai venue will host all 15 matches of the competition, including the final scheduled for September 13. The much-awaited India-Pakistan clash is expected to be one of the highlights of the group stage.

Pakistan to Face India on September 5 in Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026

Pakistan will begin their Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026 campaign on September 1 against Thailand, before facing arch-rivals India in a highly anticipated group-stage clash on September 5.

The national team will play their final group match on September 7 against Hong Kong, China.

The tournament features eight teams divided into two groups. Each team will play all opponents in its group during the league stage, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals, scheduled for September 10 and 11.

All matches of the tournament will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, with the final set to take place on September 13.
